Theory: The Lab is a Tiny Cluster that Still Reconciles from Git

kind/k3s + Argo CD + Rollouts on Linux is enough to see steps, pauses, and aborts. Git remains desired state.

Invariants

  1. A Service must select the right pods for replica-based canaries.
  2. Traffic-based canaries need a mesh (Istio) in later chapters.
  3. Verify with kubectl and the Rollout status, not only Git.
